Fisch closed out 2025 with one of its most secretive updates ever. Hidden inside this update is the Astraeus Serenade Rod, one of the hardest endgame fishing rods to obtain. The process is long, strict, and spread across the entire map.

This guide explains every step clearly. Follow it carefully, because the quest order matters a lot.

What Is the Astraeus Serenade Rod?

The Astraeus Serenade Rod is an endgame fishing rod in Fisch. It is locked behind a multi-stage hidden quest involving rare fish, special weather, secret NPCs, and expensive materials.

This rod is not easy to get. But if you complete the quest, you earn one of the most prestigious rods in the game.

How to Obtain Astraeus Serenade Rod in Fisch

To unlock the Astraeus Serenade Rod, you must complete four major steps. Missing a condition or doing things in the wrong order can fail the quest.

Let’s go step by step.

Step 1: Craft Dusky Thread

The first requirement is Dusky Thread.

How to Get Dusky Thread

You must visit Merlin and submit three special items:

• Celestial Radiant Crystal
• Serene Radiant Crystal
• Breezed Radiant Crystal

All three are found in the Mineshaft, which was added after the Merlin rework.

Important Notes

• The Mineshaft is accessed by jumping into the sea behind Merlin’s house
• You must have Merlin’s Veil, or you cannot enter
• These crystals are rare, so expect some grinding

After submitting all three crystals, Merlin will reward you with Dusky Thread.

Step 2: Place Materials at Cursed Isle (Shadow NPC)

Once you have Dusky Thread, go to Cursed Isle.

Where to Go

• Stand outside the Great Dreamers Rod cabin
• Wait for the Shadow NPC to appear

⚠️ Very Important Conditions

• The weather must be Foggy Night
• The NPC spawns only at the very end of the night
• Using a sundial helps speed this up

Items You Must Place (Order Matters!)

You must place the items in exact order:

1. Resin
2. Driftwood
3. Molten Ripple

Item Locations

• Resin: Fish at Mushgrove Swamp
• Driftwood: Sunstone Crate Cave (-1145, 135, -1075)
• Molten Ripple: Fish at Roslit Volcano (-1945, 275, 230)

Press E to place each item into the dirt pile.

If done correctly, you will receive the Astronomical Fretboard.

Step 3: White Ghost Event (Windy Night Task)

Next, you need to find the White Ghost.

Weather Requirement

• Must be a natural Windy Night
• Totems will not work

Go to the Northern Expedition mountain peak.
This is opposite the Wind Elemental Rod monk.

How to Trigger the Spirit

• Hold a Heavenly Flying Fish
• The spirit will appear
• Give it Blessed Moonwood

After this, the spirit rewards you with Twilight Pegs.

Step 4: Talk to Astraeus (Final Step)

Now comes the final part.

1. Go to the Underground Music Venue
2. Use a Starfall Totem
3. Interact with:
   • Guitar
   • Drum
   • Mic
     (Order does not matter)

You will be teleported to the Astraeus room.

• Resilience: 20%

The stats are uneven. Luck is extremely high, but resilience and control are low.

Every 2.5 seconds:

• 10% chance to push progress by 25%
• 10% chance to instantly boost progress to 100%
